2012 WeddingWire Brides Choice Award

I was delighted to learn that I was the recipient of this years Bride’s Choice award!

How are the winners determined?
The WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Awards ™ recognizes the top local wedding professionals from the WeddingWire Network that demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness and professionalism. Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the organization, the WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Awards™ are awarded solely based on the reviews from over 1.2 million newlyweds. Awards are determined by a combination of four factors: Overall rating (quality), total number of reviews (quantity), review performance from 2011 (recency), and consistency of reviews from year to year (consistency). This year’s recipients represent the top 5% of WeddingWire’s vendor community, across all service categories and all regions throughout the US and Canada.

Mary and Jay – A Hotel Northampton Wedding

Mary and Jay were married on New Years Eve at the Hotel Northampton. The good weather and the festivities in Northampton made a perfect backdrop for a magical night. The first dance was extraordinary and made for wonderful images. Congratulations to the newly weds. May you have health and happiness always!

Meaghan and Dan – A Butternut Ski Area Wedding

I’ll start this post by saying I haven’t skied in over 15 years. That was, until I got an invite from my sister to join her at Butternut Ski area this past winter.
Oh great, I thought, I have a wedding there in the fall! It’ll give me a chance to get some photo ideas!! I have to say that Butternut in the winter looks nothing like it does in the fall. I was glad to be greeted by mountains of beautifully colored trees, and I’m sure Meaghan and Dan had envisioned this from the beginning. Meaghan and Dan, I wish you the best and I thank you for letting me be a part of your day!!

Power has been restored

After six nights without power I was gladly awakened to the hum of various electronic components around the house. And of course all the lights that were left on.
A bit behind on editing and emails but slowly catching up!
The trees that you see on the ground in the picture below? That’s our street…
